What is Ttagcall?

It’s an app that finds and connects people by texting the contacts in your group in a priority order you set in advance, and automatically moving on to the next person when there’s no reply.

Can I use it for this? (When I want to call back someone I’ve worked with before)

Yes. Just add that person to your group and set them as priority #1. The next time you’re looking for people, they get contacted first automatically, so you don’t have to call and ask every time.

What happens if I contact people in order and no one responds?

It contacts everyone down to the last priority in order, and notifies you if no one has responded by the last person. One minute later the request closes automatically. When you need people urgently, you can also send to the whole group at once instead of waiting through the order.

How does broadcast (sending to everyone at once) work?

Everyone in the group is contacted at the same time, and it closes as soon as enough people accept. If no one accepts within 5 minutes you get a notification, and one minute later the request closes automatically. Unlike sequential sending (one person at a time in order), it’s great when you need several people quickly.

Can I use it when I’m too busy to make calls?

Yes, that’s exactly why we made Ttagcall. Just set a date and send, and it reaches out in priority order and moves on to the next person automatically if someone declines, so it keeps going even when you’re not on it.

What kinds of groups or work is it good for?

Anywhere you have an order of “I’d want to reach this person first this time” — staffing offices, cleaning companies, moving companies, construction firms, hiking clubs, fishing clubs, and more.

Can I split a group by role even for the same job?

Yes, you can make as many groups as you want. For asphalt paving, for example, you could make separate groups by role — core crew, spares, equipment rental — and set a different priority within each group.

Can I use it right now?

Yes, you can install it directly from Google Play. See the install guide for how to install and use it. Some features are still being refined.

Can I use it on iPhone (iOS)?

For now only Android is supported. iOS support is in the works.

How do I sign up?

You sign up quickly with a phone verification code — that’s all. No separate account is needed.

How is my contact information used?

The names and phone numbers of the contacts you add to a group are sent to and stored on the server for matching. Since people save each other under different names, matching is done by phone number, and the name shown is whatever you saved in your own phone’s address book. See the Privacy Policy for details.

How do we contact each other after a match?

When a recruitment matches, a team chat for that team is created automatically. There are also group chats you set up per group, where the group owner picks and invites app users from the group. You can exchange text and photos.

Do chat messages stay forever?

Chat messages and photos are automatically deleted 7 days after they are sent, and a chat room with no activity for 7 days is removed entirely. You can also delete each chat from your chat list yourself (team chats are hidden from the list, group chats you leave).

I want to notify everyone in a group at once.

Use Broadcast on the group screen to send a single notification instantly to everyone in that group who uses Ttagcall. Unlike a recruitment (accept/decline), it just sends a notification without collecting replies.

I still need more people.

Tap Search again with these settings on the request screen and pick one of two options. Keep looking on this request reopens the same request, so people who accept later join the same team and the same team chat as those who accepted earlier. Start a new request creates a separate one with the same settings. When you keep looking, only people who did not respond are contacted again — anyone who declined is left alone. You can also tap it before the request closes: it ends the round in progress on the spot and immediately contacts everyone who hasn’t replied yet.

Can I create more than one chat room per group?

Yes. Each time you tap Create group chat, a new room is created. The name is prefilled (Rapid team-1 · Rapid team-2) and you can tap it to type your own, such as Morning crew. You can also rename a room later from the menu at the top right of the room. Members are managed per room, and people added later cannot see earlier messages.

Someone in my contacts does not show up as a Ttagcall user.

If the number is saved in international format such as +82 10-1234-5678, it used to be missed. It is now recognised even with the country code, hyphens or spaces. If one person has several numbers saved (home, office, mobile), the mobile number is used for matching. If they still do not appear, they have not installed Ttagcall yet.

Can I tell notifications apart by their sound?

Yes. Recruitment notifications (requests, accepts, declines, cancellations, closing) use the Ttagcall sound, while chat and broadcast use your phone default notification sound, so you can tell an urgent request apart without looking. You can also set a different sound per type in your Android notification settings.

Can I remove a request I received from my list?

Requests you couldn’t join because of a schedule clash can be removed with the trash icon on the card. Requests you haven’t answered yet, or already accepted, are actual commitments for that day — those can’t be removed, and we’ll tell you why. To step out of one, open the request and tap Leave. Removing a request has no effect on the person who sent it.

How does the My schedule calendar work?

Days with something scheduled get a dot under the date. Recruitment (match) days get an orange dot, and personal events you add yourself (unrelated to matching) get a purple dot. Select a date and tap Add event to leave a personal event with just a title and a memo (no recurrence or reminders). Dates before today are dimmed, and Saturdays appear in blue, Sundays in red. You can switch between a monthly and a weekly view.

I want a confirmed match on my phone’s calendar too.

Once a recruitment is matched, an Add to calendar button appears on its detail screen. Tapping it adds that date as an all-day event to your phone’s calendar app (Google, Samsung, etc.). You can set recurrence or reminders for it directly in that calendar app.

I want to stop before every spot is filled.

Tap Stop searching on the recruitment screen and it ends right there. No one else is contacted, and anyone still being contacted can no longer accept. It can’t be undone, so check how many people joined in the confirmation dialog first. To look again later, use Search again with these settings to start a new request.

What do the recruitment status badges mean?

The badge next to the group name tells you where things stand. In progress means it is still reaching out, Full means you have everyone you needed, No one left means there was no one else in the group to contact, and Stopped by requester means the requester ended it themselves. People who received the request see the same badge. If it ends with only some spots filled, we tell you how many people joined.

Can I mute just one chat?

Open the ⋮ menu at the top right of the chat room and tap Mute to silence that room only. A team chat is a matched team, so there is no leaving it — Hide chat only removes it from your list, and it reappears when a new message arrives.

What happens when I add someone who does not use the app?

They are saved to the group first, and then we ask whether to send the install link. If you added several people, you can send to all of them at once. You do not have to send right away — the Send install link button below the member list lets you do it any time. The message includes your name and the group name so the recipient knows why they got it.

How do I see who is in a chat room?

Open the room and the people in this chat are listed right under the notice. Names come from your own phone’s contacts; anyone you have not saved shows as a phone number. People save the same number under different names, so Ttagcall matches by phone number and shows each person the name they saved.

Chat notifications are piling up.

Tapping just one notification clears all of that room’s notifications, because opening the room means you have read them. Notifications from other rooms and recruitment alerts stay.

Notifications arrive late or without sound.

Ttagcall is an app you only open when work comes up, so it is used infrequently — and then your phone (especially Samsung) puts it to sleep, batching notifications and delivering them late or silently. Turning off battery optimization fixes this. Tap Allow on the “Stop optimizing battery usage” prompt shown on first launch, or turn it on any time in Settings → Prevent delayed alerts. Other messengers like KakaoTalk recommend the same setting.
